It is frustrating having great ideas and not knowing what to do with them.
About a month ago, shortly after the iPad hit the market, I had a great idea:
What if there was a mounting device for the iPad that would connect to the back of a seat so that people sitting in the back of a car can watch movies on it? It'd be so great. Instead of buying in-car entertainment systems, a tech-happy dad or mom would have the excuse he / she needs to treat her /himself to a brand new iPad.
"The kids can use it in the car to watch movies!" secretly thinking I can sneak back there and check my email and just surf the net when everyone's sleeping. Screen attached to the seat in front of you, little portable keyboard attached (bluetooth??)... Possibilities are endless.
Then what if I could attach my bamboo tablet to it!! oh oh, could I then download an app that will let me DRAW!!! That would be GREAT for the kids!!!
Mind you, I don't have an iPad.. not for a lack of wanting.. so I don't know if you can hook up a keyboard or a drawing pad to it. It just seems like a great idea...
So about a week ago, I decided to see if such a product exists. Surely, I can't be the first person to think of such a simple accessory that would make so much possible!!
To my great disappointment (I really did want to be the first to have thought of this), a quick google search revealed that not only was I not the first, but the people who thought of before me had really great design ideas too!! The design is beautiful. Exactly what I was thinking only even cooler...
This isn't the first time my great ideas is taken either...
"At least it exists," I tell myself. After all, I've had great ideas that did not exist (still don't!) and what have I done with those?? Absolutely ZIP!
Check out Modul R and see for yourself how cool this iPad accessory is...
Argh! I totally identify with this. I actually have an idea for a website that I've been sitting on for a few months. How lame is that?? A website is the absolute easiest and cheapest business to start. I guess it's just laziness (on my part anyway). :o/
